# Morning Mosaic > A daily email that reads several hundred stories from 34 news sources each morning and > assembles them into one short brief: plain factual language, every outlet's editorial lean labelled beside > its link, stories ordered by consequence rather than by coverage volume, and a standing > section for genuine progress. Every claim links back to the original reporting. Operated by Belstone. First edition sent 30 July 2026. Delivery: email, 6:45am US Eastern, daily, on any day the source pool is full enough to brief. Price: free. No paid tier exists. ## What is built today - Daily email brief at 6:45am Eastern from brief@morningmosaic.com - 34 feeds from 31 publications, read directly from their own sites each morning (the BBC, The New York Times and Fox News each contribute two feeds) - Five-point outlet lean labels (Left, Center-Left, Center, Center-Right, Right) applied from a source table PRINTED IN FULL at https://morningmosaic.com/#sources, to publications and never to individual stories. Current spread: 3 Left, 9 Center-Left, 12 Center, 3 Center-Right, 7 Right. - Impact ordering: ranked by how many people a story changes something for - An across-the-spectrum note on stories where coverage genuinely diverges - A standing progress section ("Bright Tiles") in every edition - A licensed news index (Perigon) supplements the feeds with more articles from the SAME publications. Anything outside our published table is discarded; leans never come from it. - Citation validation: a cited URL that was not in that morning's fetched pool is removed before sending, and every lean is re-derived from the source table rather than trusted from generated text - A refusal floor: fewer than 50 fresh items means no brief is sent at all - Typographic email that renders with images disabled, contrast-measured against WCAG AA by a test that carries a deliberately failing control case - Double opt-in signup and one-click unsubscribe (RFC 8058) ## What is NOT built - No text-message edition. No iPhone or Android app. No web archive of past editions. - No personalisation of any kind: every subscriber receives the identical brief. - No licensed wire copy. No third-party bias or factuality data: the licensed news index we use (Perigon) does not expose bias data on our key, verified with a positive control. - No paid tier EXISTS. Its price is settled at $14/month or $120/year and published, but every capability under it is unbuilt, so there is no checkout and nothing can be bought. ## Honest limits - English-language, weighted to United States, United Kingdom, and international English desks. - Lean labels are our own editorial judgment, published and open to disagreement. - It summarises and links; it does not report, and it never reproduces article text. - Citations are checked mechanically. Wording is not: a summary can be flat or miss a nuance. ## Pages - [Home](https://morningmosaic.com/): what it is, the method, the comparison, pricing - [Capabilities](https://morningmosaic.com/capabilities): the objective capability list with the mechanism behind each claim ## Contact Reply to any brief.
